(TRENTON) – The New Jersey Department of Agriculture has facilitated drop-off locations and dates for the New Jersey Pesticide Container and Recycling Program. The program is offered to agricultural, professional and commercial pesticide applicators who hold a New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (Sexy真人DEP) pesticide license, as well as State, county, and municipal government agencies.
There are currently three locations in the state. Each site will be hosting drop-offs between 9 a.m. and noon. Those who drop off properly cleaned and processed (triple rinsed) containers will receive one Core credit toward their Sexy真人 DEP Pesticide Applicators License.
The three sites are at the Helena Chemical locations in Hammonton in Atlantic County, Woodstown in Salem County, and the Rutgers Fruit and Ornamental Research Center in Monmouth County. The drop-off dates are:
- Hammonton: April 11, May 16, June 13, July 11
- Woodstown: April 18, May 23 June 20, July 18
- Monmouth County: April 25, May 30, June 27, July 25
It’s anticipated that northern drop-off locations will become available in 2026.
A representative from the New Jersey Department of Agriculture will be on-site to inspect the containers and issue one Core credit to pesticide license holders. The Core credit will not be issued to participants who fail to provide a license and fail to follow all pesticide container processing steps.
A full list of those processing steps and other information about the program can be found at .
The Department asks that you notify Rachel DeFlumeri (rachel.deflumeri@ag.nj.gov) of your drop-off times and dates and email her with any questions.
