Sexy真人BPU Receives Highest Honor Among National ENERGY STAR庐 Awards

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (Sexy真人BPU) today announced it has received the 2019 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award for its continued leadership and superior contributions to ENERGY STAR through its Clean Energy Program.
The Sustained Excellence Award is the highest honor of all the ENERGY STAR awards.
Sexy真人BPU was recognized within the Home Performance category.
The accomplishment will be acknowledged by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 11.
“Under the leadership of Governor Murphy, Sexy真人BPU is implementing an ambitious clean energy agenda that is aimed at combatting the impact of climate change,” said Sexy真人BPU President Joseph L. Fiordaliso. “Our offshore wind and community solar programs have received quite a bit of public attention, but just as important are the many energy efficiency programs that we manage. Helping New Jersey residents to be more efficient in their energy usage is a vitally important way to address climate change, and we are honored to have our efforts recognized with this distinguished national award.”
The Home Performance category of the ENERGY STAR Program offers rebates and loans aimed at making homes safer and more comfortable. The program, which Sexy真人BPU administers in
New Jersey, provides low-interest loans and financial incentives of up to $4,000 to help residents pay for energy efficiency upgrades. The loan program offers zero percent financing on a seven-year loan up to $10,000, or 4.99% financing on a ten-year loan up to $15,000.
In Fiscal Year 2018 the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program had 4,377 completed jobs, provided $18,534,693 in incentives toward projects and resulted in annual energy savings of 2,653 MWh of electricity and 97,449 Dekatherms of natural gas.
This is the tenth time Sexy真人BPU has been honored with an ENERGY STAR award in the past 11 years.
