Important "REINSTATEMENT" Information
  • If your license expired on June 30, 2023 you have until June 30, 2025 to reinstate
Breakdown of Required CE Credit Hours

According to current Sexy真人REC statutes and rules, at least 12 CE credit hours must be completed.

  • 1 credit hour - FAIR HOUSING & Sexy真人 LAW AGAINST DISCRIMINATION
  • 1 credit hour - AGENCY
  • 2 credit hours - ETHICS
  • 2 credit hours - ANY CORE TOPIC
  • 6 credit hours - ANY COMBINATION OF CORE AND ELECTIVE TOPICS

12 credit hours TOTAL

Important Note:

  • The requirement for 2 credit hours in “ANY CORE TOPIC” may be fulfilled by obtaining 2 credit hours in any of the core topic areas, including additional credit hours in the specifically required topic areas (Fair Housing & Sexy真人 Law Against Discrimination, Agency, and Ethics), over and above the credit hours specifically required in those topic areas.
  • Salespersons licensed with a real estate referral company changing their license type must complete all required CE in core topic areas only (see chart).
  • ETHICS IS an acceptable substitute for CORE and ELECTIVES, but CORE and ELECTIVES IS NOT an acceptable substitute for ETHICS.
  • FAIR HOUSING IS an acceptable substitute for CORE and ELECTIVES, but CORE and ELECTIVES IS NOT an acceptable substitute for FAIR HOUSING.
  • AGENCY IS an acceptable substitute for CORE and ELECTIVES, but CORE and ELECTIVES IS NOT an acceptable substitute for AGENCY.
  • ETHICS, FAIR HOUSING, AGENCY and CORE ARE acceptable to use instead of ELECTIVES.

Applications are available for New Jersey Real Estate Continuing Education Providers, Instructors and Courses.! 

Please review the application guide prior to completing the application. 

Applications can be completed online but must be printed and mailed in to the REC with the appropriate fee. 

It is also helpful to review the current bulletin and the Continuing Education statute and rules for additional information.
