MVC Facilities will be Closed in Recognition of Labor Day

(TRENTON) – New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) customers are advised that all MVC facilities, including agencies, suspension and restoration centers, driver testing sites and vendor-run inspection stations will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2015 in recognition of the Labor Day holiday.

Regular MVC Agency hours are:

Monday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

  Regular Inspection Station hours are:

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday 7:00 a.m. to Noon

As always, customers can avoid unnecessary trips to an agency when they "Skip the Trip" for driver's license renewals or through 24-7 access to a variety of motor vehicle services via the Web. From vehicle registration renewals and driver abstract requests to surcharge/restoration payments, provides the added convenience of transactions from home.
