Division of Elections Proposes Rule Amendments

TRENTON, N.J. 鈥� The New Jersey Division of Elections, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:23-45.3, 19:31-6.4a through 6.9, and 19:31-30, has proposed amendments to rule N.J.A.C. 15:10. The Secretary of State reviewed the current rules and determined several changes were required to, among other things, properly align the rules with the most recent statutory changes and clarify that digitized signatures are acceptable as originals for voter registration purposes.
